The Many Benefits of Kids Yoga

Yoga is extremely beneficial for kids. Not only do kids get to move and strengthen their bodies through asanas (postures), they learn to use their breath, be more mindful and find calm and focus. Kids yoga is proven to help kids increase their attention spans and focus longer on tasks. It also helps kids connect with their breath and find ways to soothe themselves when they are anxious or upset. The act of practicing poses encourages kids to clear their minds and focus on their effort and their breath which teaches them how to be still and present.
